To ensure that all member hotels worldwide offer the same high standards, each hotel undergoes a quality evaluation at least once a year, where cleanliness and maintenance are checked as well as the availability of our minimum standards and the competence of the staff members. The very detailed point-system helps the hotelier to identify possible capabilities.

In 2009 the Best Western International Quality Award was assigned among all 4.000 properties worldwide to honor their high performance in quality and standards. These  properties are the recipients of the International Quality Award.
